The Edit Manufacturer view allows users to update existing manufacturer details, including the associated site and name. Pre-filled fields ensure quick and accurate modifications, while mandatory validation guarantees critical information is provided. The header provides the title, clearly indicating the purpose of the modal.
Title
Displays the heading "Edit Manufacturer" at the top of the modal window.
This header helps users understand that they are editing an existing manufacturer rather than creating a new one.
The form includes two mandatory fields for updating the manufacturer details. Both fields are pre-filled with existing data to facilitate quick edits.
Site*
Dropdown Menu
Displays the current site associated with the manufacturer. Users can select a different site from predefined options (e.g., Minnovation).
Name*
Text Input
Displays the current name of the manufacturer (e.g., "WISE"). Users can modify the name if needed.
Both fields are required, ensuring critical details are always provided before saving.
Note : Actions like Manage and Delete are disabled for the Global site, while they are enabled for other sites.
Cancel Button

Discards any unsaved changes and closes the modal without saving.

Saves the updated manufacturer details if all mandatory fields are completed correctly.
Note : The close icon (X) in the top-right corner of the Save Edit Manufacturer modal allows users to exit without saving changes.

Both the Site and Name fields are required to enable the Save button.
Dropdown Menu
The Site field provides a dropdown list of predefined options for accurate selection.
Step 1: Open the Edit Manufacturer modal for the desired manufacturer.
Step 2: Review the pre-filled Site and Name fields.
Step 3: Update the Site or Name as required.
Step 4: Click Save to apply the changes or Cancel to exit without saving.
