Create a New Dashboard

The Create New Dashboard view allows users to set up dashboards by filling mandatory fields, adding details, and customizing settings.

The Create New Dashboard view in AlphaX Cloud provides a structured form for setting up dashboards. Users must complete required fields like Name, Entity, and Data Time Range (marked with *), while optional fields include Dashboard Context, Logo Image, and Chart Color. With Create and Cancel buttons, users can save or exit the setup. This layout ensures easy customization of dashboard content, appearance, and context.

Field
Description

Name

A required field for the dashboard’s title, serving as the primary identifier.

Entity

Dropdown to select the associated entity (e.g., organization or location), pre-filled with "Minnovation."

Data Time Range

Dropdown for selecting the data time range shown on the dashboard (e.g., Last 7 Days).

Dashboard Context

A text box (up to 50 words) for adding contextual information or a description, helping users understand the dashboard’s focus.

Upload Logo Image

Allows users to upload a logo by dragging and dropping an image file (up to 2MB) to personalize the dashboard.

Chart Colour

Toggle with a dropdown for selecting the default chart colour scheme, letting users align visuals with their branding.

Create Button

Finalizes the setup and saves the dashboard.

Cancel Button

Exits the setup without saving any changes, allowing users to return to the form later.

Note : Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be filled out to create the dashboard. Fields without an asterisk are optional and can be left blank if not needed.
