The Reports Module enables creating, managing, and automating customized reports with flexible triggers, dynamic content, and actionable insights.

The Reports Module in AlphaX Cloud is a versatile tool that allows users to create, manage, and customize reports using sensor data, user-defined parameters, and operational insights. Designed for flexibility, it supports a wide range of reporting needs, from daily operational summaries to detailed analytics for strategic decision-making.

Main Features

  1. Report Creation

    • Users can create custom reports by defining parameters such as the entity, sensors, and report type.

    • Flexible options for selecting data channels and configurations tailored to individual reporting requirements.

  2. Report Triggers

    • Manual Triggers: Users can manually run reports at any time to get up-to-date insights.

    • Scheduled Triggers: Automate report generation at predetermined intervals (e.g., daily, weekly).

    • Event-Based Triggers: Generate reports based on specific events, such as sensor anomalies or threshold breaches.

  3. Dynamic Content

    • Include components like summaries, charts, sensor tables, and event logs.

    • AI-driven insights and recommendations to enhance decision-making.

    • Multiple output formats, including PDF and logs, for sharing and documentation.

Module Components

  1. List View

    • Displays a comprehensive list of all existing reports, showing:

      • Entity

      • Report Name

      • Last Run Time

      • Actions (View, Edit, Delete)

    • Users can filter and sort reports for efficient management.

  2. Create Report Wizard

    • A guided process for creating reports:

      • Fields include Name, Entity, and Sensors.

      • Options to show hidden channels for more granular data selection.

      • Includes a Next button for configuring additional settings.

  3. Manage View

    • Allows users to review and modify existing reports.

    • Key elements include:

      • Report Information: Name, entity, and associated data.

      • Report Settings: Options to include components like event logs, sensor maps, and AI insights.

      • Table Settings: Configure aggregation types such as sum, minimum, maximum, or average.

  4. Run and Logs

    • Run Report: Allows immediate generation and export of the report.

    • Logs: Provides a history of report generation and modifications.

Create, Edit, and Delete Modals

  1. Create Modal

    • Guides users through setting up new reports.

    • Users define report names, select entities, choose data channels, and configure content.

    • Includes options for scheduling and output formats.

  2. Edit Modal

    • Enables modifications to existing reports, such as:

      • Adjusting parameters.

      • Adding or removing content components.

      • Updating trigger types.

  3. Delete Modal

    • Safely removes reports with confirmation steps to prevent accidental deletions.
