Models Manage View
The Edit Model view lets users update site, model name, and number with options to save or cancel changes.
The Edit Model view allows users to update model details, including the associated site, model name, and model number. It features a dropdown for selecting the site, text fields for mandatory model information, and action buttons to either save changes or cancel them. This interface ensures accurate and organized management of model data.
Header Section
Title
Displays the heading "Edit Model" at the top-left corner of the modal.
The title clearly indicates the purpose of the modal: editing an existing model.
Input Fields Section
The form contains three fields: two are mandatory, and one is optional. All fields are pre-filled with the existing model details to facilitate quick and accurate edits.
Site*
Dropdown Menu
Displays the currently associated site (e.g., Minnovation). Users can select a different site from the predefined list. Actions are disabled for Global sites.
Model Name*
Text Input
A required field for modifying the model’s name (e.g., "AT101-915M Milesight Outdoor Asset Tracker").
Model Number
Text Input (Optional)
An optional field for editing the model number (e.g., "AT101-915M").
Mandatory fields (Site and Model Name) must be completed before the Save button is enabled.
Action Buttons Section
Cancel Button
Action Button
Discards any unsaved changes and closes the modal without saving.
Save Button
Action Button
Saves the updated model details if all mandatory fields are correctly filled out.
These buttons allow users to either apply changes or exit without saving.
Key Functionalities
Pre-filled Fields
Existing data is pre-populated for quick and accurate updates.

The Site and Model Name fields must be completed for saving changes.

The Site field uses a dropdown to ensure accurate site selection.
Global Site Restriction
Actions (editing and saving) are disabled for models associated with the Global site.
Mini Workflow Example
Step 1: Open the Edit Model modal for the desired model.
Step 2: Review and update the Site, Model Name, or Model Number fields as needed.
Step 3: Click Save to apply the changes, or select Cancel to exit without saving.
