The Calculations List View is a key interface within the AlphaX platform, providing users with a structured and interactive table for managing calculations. Below is a detailed breakdown of the various elements.
Filter Section
A filter text box is located at the top left of the table, allowing users to quickly filter the entries by typing keywords. This feature dynamically updates the table as the user types, helping to locate specific calculations easily.
Action Buttons
Table Fields Button(Column Visibility): This button provides a dropdown menu that allows users to customize the columns displayed in the table. Users can select or deselect fields to tailor the view to their specific needs.
Export Button: Clicking this button opens options to export the table data in various formats, including XLS, CSV, PDF, and image formats. This is useful for users who need to analyze the data offline or share it in reports.
Maximize Table Button: This button expands the table to a full-screen view, which is especially useful when working on devices with smaller screens, such as tablets or smartphones.
Column Headers and Sorting
The table consists of several columns, each with a heading such as "Tag," "Channel Name," "Channel Description," "Timeseries," "Last Value," "Unit," "Updated," and "Actions." Users can click on column headers with a sort icon to sort the table based on that column's data. Additionally, columns can be dragged and rearranged to customize the table layout.
Row Data
Each row in the table represents an individual calculation. Key data points such as the calculation tag, channel name, description, timeseries graph, last recorded value, unit of measurement, and the time since the last update are displayed. The timeseries column provides a visual representation of recent data trends, offering a quick overview of the calculation's performance.
Action Buttons (Right Side of Each Row)
Edit Calculation: An icon resembling a gear or pencil that redirects users to the Manage View for that specific calculation, allowing them to edit or update its parameters.
AI Summary Button: A button that, when clicked, generates an AI-based summary of the most recent 50 calculated values, providing quick insights.
Duplicate Calculation: This button allows users to create a duplicate of the selected calculation, which can be modified without altering the original.
Delete Calculation: Represented by a trash can icon, this button enables users to delete the selected calculation after confirming the action to prevent accidental deletions.
Create Button (Top Right)
Positioned prominently at the top right, the Create button opens a modal window that guides users through the process of creating a new calculation. This feature allows for the selection of sensors, configuration of triggers, and definition of arithmetic operations.
Pagination Controls (Bottom Right)
Pagination buttons located at the bottom right corner of the table allow users to navigate through multiple pages of calculations, making it easier to manage large datasets.
