Create New Device Registration

AlphaX New Device Registration View adds devices with essential details: name, entity, tag, network ID, and connectivity settings.

The New Device Registration View in AlphaX allows users to add a new device by filling in essential fields like Device Name, Entity, Device Tag, Network ID, and Keep Alive interval. This information ensures the device is uniquely identified, linked to the correct network, and maintains active connectivity. Users can cancel or create the registration.

Fields and Options

1. Type

   • Dropdown to select the device type. Default is "Device."

2. Device Name*

   • Mandatory field for specifying the device's name to identify it within the system.

3. Entity*

   • Mandatory dropdown to select the associated entity or organization (e.g., department or location).

4. Device Tag*

   • Mandatory field to assign a unique tag or identifier to the device for easy tracking and reference.

5. Network ID*

   • Mandatory field to enter the device’s unique network identifier, which links it to the network for communication.

6. Keep Alive*

   • Mandatory field specifying the time interval (in seconds) the device remains active if no data is received. This helps manage device connectivity.

Bottom Action Buttons

• Cancel: Closes the registration view without saving any information.

• Create: Completes the device registration process and adds the device to the system with the specified details.
